Angel Reese earned her first career triple-double (11 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists) against the Connecticut Sun on Saturday June 14th. She is the second youngest player to achieve this record. Reese is 23 and 40 days old, and is into her second year in the WNBA. The youngest player to hold the record is Caitlin Clark when she was 22 and 166 days old. Speaking of Caitlin Clark after coming back from a quad injury, she helped Fever defeat Liberty who were undefeated. After being gone after 5 games, she was more than ready to play. She hit three 3-pointers in a row and totaled 32 points. There are much more games to go in the commissioners cup. Interesting news, Valkyries re-sign former UConn guard Kaitlyn Chen after cutting her during preseason. People are excited to see her again and hope she shows out.
