Although she was unable to continue the streak, she now holds the longest streak in WNBA history of 15 consecutive double-double games. USWNT Prep for Olympics

The Saturday game against Mexico was the first game with the official roster heading to the Olympics. Prior to this week, the Olympic roster included Chelsea midfielder, Cat Macario however, Emma Hayes had to scratch Macario from the roster due to consistent right knee irritation. Due to this change previous World Cup player, Lynn Williams was moved from the reserves up to the official roster. Even though this will be a big loss, Lynn Williams will add more tournament experience to this young roster. Circling back to the game, USA went on the win 1-0 but this scoreline doesn’t really depict a game that had many chances from the US side. The team looked a little disorganized but most will say that comes from a lack of cohesion in the starting eleven. Regardless, Emma Hayes is looking forward to the upcoming game on July 16th where USWNT will be playing Costa Rica in what will be the Olympic send off game .
